Our summer visit to Wales was a short burst of refreshment that tantalized our passports and left us begging for more... So we went again.
2017 took us many places. Iceland, Ireland, England, Tenerife …. and each of them kept a bit of us when we left, but Wales was altogether different. Ask any Welshman or Welshwoman and they won’t deny the bipolar whims of the weather, but when they talk about a Welsh summer, the glint in their eye and the passion in their words just fill you with such longing. At least that’s what it does for us. It only takes a few pictures to understand what they’re on about. It’s the California of the UK with a rustic and untamed beauty that stays with you.
Our summer visit to Wales was a short burst of refreshment that tantalized our passports and left us begging for more. 2018 came around and we got a chance to go back. This time on the winter-spring cusp and while there’s nothing like a Welsh summer, it’s still the same magnificent place all year long and everyday has a bit of time when the sun shines.
Stay tuned for some of our Wales wanderings. We had the best time and still haven’t had our fill but that’s the beauty of planes. They always take you where you want to go and don’t ask any questions. Sixth trip to the same place? Right this way, miss.
